r i v e r is a new formation, founded by saxophonist Robert Unterköfler and electric bassist Nina Feldgrill, winner of this year's Ö1 Jazz Scholarship. Together with their band mates Erik Asatrian on keys and Simon Springer on drums, the quartet presents original compositions by all band members.

Although the music can be categorised as fusion jazz, the individual and artistic personality of each member creates a very unique band sound. The audience can look forward to virtuoso, wild moments which, in combination with quiet passages, create a special listening experience.
