After two golden albums recorded by Deutsche Grammophon, they now present their latest work at Herbstgold, supported by the renowned Vienna Chamber Orchestra: Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons in the unmistakable interpretation of the Janoska style.

Through their “Janoska style” they have created a new genre that brings the art of improvisation – once a central element of classical string training but now largely forgotten – back to the fore. The musical examination of Ondrej, Roman, František Janoska and Julius Darvas with Vivaldi's Le quattro stagioni testifies to their outstanding mastery and deep musical sensitivity. With great respect for the work of the Venetian composer, they continue his thoughts in a captivating and orchestral splendor of sound that takes the audience on a journey through three centuries.

Each movement of the work contains a passage specially composed by František Janoska, while Ondrej and Roman's impressive virtuosity surpasses the level of difficulty of Vivaldi's violin concertos. Julius Darvas gives the basso continuo a modern form of expression that brings the ensemble into the present.
